One of the things my husband Richard celebrates most about me is my never give up mentality. The challenging career of entertainment is one of those where working hours don’t apply, I have to be camera ready anytime. That means my eating habits must be clean, my brain always sharp, my body in shape and no matter how little rest I get, it’s work, work, work.
It can be devastating to one’s self esteem when for example you audition for a role you know you were sure to get and don’t, or when your emails and submissions get ignored, or even worse, when there is very little or nothing happening in the industry.
This is when I put on my God's armor and fight like a warrior, thirsty for success, until I satisfy my inner desire for achievement, I do everything I can, sometimes cry and scream and minutes later, I’m ready to give the world the very best of me once again. It hurts like a bitch, man does it hurt. The physical, emotional and mental endurance one must have in this business is beyond what words can describe.
To enjoy success, I do whatever it takes, and there is a lot to do when you reign as the world's number one superstar, do you think everyone likes me going after this goal? No, many try to stop me, but I see that one way or another they get out of my way, I don't give an F who approves or doesn't, This is my dream, my goal, I have strong faith, and endless supporters who have my back, like you. You, to whom I'm grateful for, for sharing my content with everyone you know. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for sharing my every photo, every video, every song and blog post, share it all, thank you. I love being spoiled and adored by you. I love you with all my heart.
