When I first arrived in the United States, My family and I visited Universal Studios. I was mesmerized by the whole idea of the movie making magic. In Mexico, as a child I was enrolled in a kids program and traveled around several towns and states performing along with a very talented caravan. So when I arrived in California I knew I wanted to have a professional career in entertainment.
So while being at Universal Studios, one of the most iconic moments was when they held a clapboard in front of the actor and after that the director yells action. That’s when I promised myself I would have that happen to me every day of my life, a clapboard would be held in front of me and I would take audiences into magical places where they can be entertained. I worked day and night to see this dream be a reality. It sounds easier said than done. But when I see where my dreams are taking me and my strong faith knowing that God would make a way, I just put one foot in front of the other.
For me an entertainer must sing, act and entice you to see the world through his experiences. I have had many challenges, roadblocks that almost left me unable to continue chasing this calling. But I know how important it is to go after what I want regardless of whatever gets in my way. Before I am a star, I am aware I am a human being and life can get in the way.
On September 28, I am releasing the music video of my most recent single “I’m Obsessed with you,” Sometimes the industry doesn’t open all the doors one hopes for. But I am relentless, because you move me. I love seeing your face when you are entertained and I can take you away from your worries. Are you living the life you promised yourself you would? I can say I am, but mostly because of your support, your love and the time you spend telling everyone else about our music, our videos and our achievements. Thank you for sharing
