Hey What's Up, Bros

We spent Friday evening inside an AMC movie theater watching the release of the film BROS, the story of Bobby, a neurotic podcast host who's happy to go on Tinder dates and content not to have a serious relationship. But that all changes when he meets Aaron, an equally detached lawyer who likes to play the field.

Nicholas Stoller directs the Movie from a screenplay he co-wrote with Billy Eichner, who portrays Bobby, and Luke Macfarlane plays Aaron.

Bringing a gay film to the big screen is an ambitious thing to do. It feels amazing being represented and having our stories available for others to learn and grow from. Being married to another man and open about his orientation, I have to show my support.

Luke Macfarlane and Billy Eichner have incredible chemistry together. They both struggle with the many issues I find confusing in gay life in the story. My status as a celebrity has always made it easy never to spend a night alone. When I married Richard, it was the perfect reason to remain monogamous. Let me leave clear that I respect everyone's ideas of love and relationships. However, having the blessing of going through life and investing all my energy in one person means the world to me. I can't see us exploring with anyone else, especially when promiscuity puts us both in danger of contracting STDs and other illnesses that can claim our lives. Why do we still need to play games when you promised to honor and respect your partner? I don't know, and I disagree.

I am a firm believer in the messages the universe sends us, and many beautiful signs screamed at me to realize going out with Richard to watch was meant to be. The film was projected in theater number 8. If You don't know, I am a number 8 in numerology, and 8 is the date Richard and I met online. September 8th, to be exact. Another is the promo poster. In the image, both men grab each other's behind, claiming I got you, and you got me.

When Richard and I married, we had the same pose in one of the photos we took.

And Surprisingly, Megan Harvey and John Bennett have the same pose when married. The Rich Man and I got hitched in 2019, and years later, the pose is trending and being immortalized.

I am not going to say we invented it, but I can say we made the memory first.

With that said, I hope you get a chance to enjoy BROS; Watching Billy Eichner and Luke Macfarlane get it on is HOT, and you will laugh with Bowen Yang, Harvey Fierstein, Ts Madison, Monica Raymund, Guillermo Díaz, Guy Branum, Amanda Bearse, and Jim Rash,  an openly LGBT principal cast.

Have You seen the film? what do you think of it? How do you feel about open relationships? and what other views can you share with us about looking for love when you are not looking but deep inside hope to find it?
