You are looking at a photo of my husband Richard and our dog Karmal. In other posts I have shared details of Karmal's personality and why he means the world to me. Recently, we lost our alpha dog Onyx, and Karmal took the role of the protector around the house. Our little BIG dog is really shy when he gets loved on. Richard and I often hold him between us and kiss him endlessly, he growls though, and when we put him down, he comes back for more.
We lost Onyx due to old age. I was very angry at God when he had a heart attack in front of us, and I begged him to take Onyx and to please not let him suffer. God didn't listen to our prayer, Instead we watched for 48 hours as he became weak and was deteriorating before us. Having the courage withing us to make the decision to put him to sleep was heart breaking. I'm only talking about now, because I'm in a stronger place and calm enough where I can understand that life moves on, Onyx had a wonderful time with us and If God wanted a Dog so bad to take him, than God can enjoy him, Onyx is sure to put a smile on his face.
But Karmal is new at being the protecting dog. As you can see our ferocious looking wolf can be a teddy bear. I'll share with you this, So throughout the night, Karmal sleeps by my side or between my legs, when I get up at 1:00AM every morning to start my day, he moves and asks Richard to be held under his arm.
And last but not least, is our princess cupcake. The only words to describe Roxie is attitude, I don't call her queen because she would take to heart and order everyone around at the Ultimate Kingdom of Joy, So I call her princess, That way I'm the King and have the final word. Among many, many, many, many, many, many... these are three beautiful reasons why my life is full of Joy
