The World’s No.1 Superstar®, returns with Dangerous Joy, a striking new single and music video arriving ahead of Pride Month through S & S Digital Records and distributed worldwide by The Orchard, the subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment.
Blending cinematic storytelling with themes of identity, freedom, and acceptance, Dangerous Joy transforms personal experience into a larger cultural statement. The visual contrasts faceless black-and-white silhouettes symbolizing condemnation and rigid ideology against explosions of radiant color, crystal hearts, and openly affectionate straight, lesbian, and gay couples.
Throughout the video, Sidow Sobrino appears alongside his husband, Richard Sidow-Sobrino, in symbolic transformations including two grooms, two brides, and a groom-and-bride pairing — imagery designed to challenge binaries while embracing individuality and emotional truth.
“Dangerous Joy is not about fighting people,” Sidow Sobrino explains. “Life is already hard enough. This is about liberation. Joy itself can become dangerous when you are different, when your ideas challenge expectations, and when you choose to express yourself openly.”

Richard Sidow-Sobrino also reflects on the deeply personal inspiration behind the project.
“Growing up in the 1980s in a conservative area allowed me to witness firsthand the persecution and hate toward anyone who was different,” he says. “This anthem sprang forth from that hate. Our love has propelled us into the national spotlight to become the voices we did not have growing up. We will not hide in a closet, and we will be who we are meant to be.”
