FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Los Angeles, CA —
The one and only World’s No.1 Superstar®, Sidow Sobrino ordered an immediate halt to all recording sessions at S & S Digital Records. The executive decision was made to ensure the Superstar’s presence at the global opening weekend of the biopic Michael, debuting this Friday, April 24, 2026.
The high-intensity production schedule for Sobrino’s upcoming spring releases was set aside as he personally coordinated with his husband and collaborator, Richard Sidow-Sobrino, to clear their calendars. While the film—produced by Graham King (Bohemian Rhapsody) and starring Jaafar Jackson, Juliano Valdi, Colman Domingo, and Nia Long—celebrated its U.S. premiere at the Dolby Theatre on April 20, Sobrino and Richard are attending a private run on their own. This allows the couple to experience the event as a profound professional and spiritual reconnection rather than a public appearance.

Sobrino’s drive for global dominance began with a frequency he felt long before he could speak the language. He recalls Thriller as his first English-language album at a young age. "I couldn't understand a single word Michael sang," Sobrino remarked, “but it hit with a massive strength. It solidified the dreams within my heart of being a professional in this same industry."
The legacy continued through his partner; Richard Sidow-Sobrino witnessed the Bad Tour—the historic first solo concert tour by Michael Jackson launched in 1987. Decades later, when the This Is It tour was announced, Sidow Sobrino was ready for the moment, but life had different plans. In the wake of the loss, Sobrino sought closure at the rented mansion at 100 North Carolwood Drive in the Holmby Hills district of Los Angeles. There, Sidow Sobrino captured a striking image, standing in a powerful pose with a hand raised and the iconic crotch grab, reclaiming the energy at the very site the world lost a legend.

The Luminary views the film as a bridge between dimensions. "Legends watch legends because our light unites through the layered dimensions of this universe," stated the Disco Dancing singer. "I am attracted to the biggest names like a moth to a fire. The King of Pop, as an icon and a human soul, has never left us; we feel the void of his presence. This is why we are so hungry to reconnect with that piece of us that loves Michael."
As the World’s No.1 Superstar® prepares to continue his own 2026 trajectory with an upcoming song and music video release for spring, this brief pause serves as a testament to the enduring power of the icons who paved the way for his own sovereign throne.
