In “Under Your Spell,” Sidow Sobrino steps into the role of The Supreme Sorcerer, an enigmatic ruler with an empire, extraordinary influence, and one unresolved matter: finding an heir worthy of inheriting it.
The new music video from The World’s No.1 Superstar® builds an opulent supernatural fantasy around that search. Set in Miami Beach, Florida, and shot on location in Laguna Beach, California, a dark séance summons forces from above and below, setting in motion a procession of mysterious encounters as prospective beauties enter the Sorcerer’s realm, each hoping to captivate the ruler and carry the child destined for his empire.
There are beautiful faces everywhere. Worthiness is another matter entirely.
Watching it all unfold is Balthazar, the Royal Butler, portrayed by the global icon's husband, Richard. More confidant than servant, Balthazar conspires alongside his master, helping navigate the personalities and temptations entering their domain. Richard’s presence extends beyond the screen: he also provides background vocals on the recording.
Together, The Supreme Sorcerer and Balthazar give “Under Your Spell” its theatrical center—a ruler accustomed to getting what he wants and the loyal man who understands precisely how his reign operates.

Beneath the fantasy is a high-energy Electronic and Dance-Pop track driven by hypnotic production and a relentless pulse. The visual takes that energy somewhere considerably stranger, translating the song’s magnetic pull into séance, character, symbolism, and theatrical excess.
“Under Your Spell” also expands the cinematic language of Seminal. Rather than imposing one aesthetic across the album, Sobrino has approached its visual narrative as a collection of distinct experiences, allowing each track to dictate its own atmosphere and identity. Here, reality gives way to an imagined court where mysticism and temptation coexist with beauty, hierarchy, and spectacle.
“Knowing I was playing Balthazar was exciting because it let me step into a new, sinister, villainous role,” said Richard, the star's husband. “Filming those beach scenes in front of a crowd reminded me how blessed I am to be an actor.”
The release follows “Dangerous Joy,” Sobrino’s LGBTQ+ anthem whose visual received multiple Honorable Mentions at film festivals in India, continuing the international recognition surrounding the Seminal era.
But “Under Your Spell” belongs to an entirely different realm.
