I have adopted over 600 children. Well, Yes and no, I am not a father, but a member of The PTA at my husband's elementary school. I volunteer for their events, and one of my favorites is being the DJ at their Valentine's Family dance.
It's a huge Joy and honor to contribute with my talent to these types of events. There's an indescribable feeling when you see everyone come together with music, dancing, and having the time of their lives. For some of the kids, it's their first, so I even get to give them a little lesson on how it all works. The moment that brought tears to my eyes was when I asked the children to get their parents on the dance floor.
This is my third year hosting, I said it out loud on the Mic and will repeat it. THIS WAS THE BEST DANCE YET!!!
I want to express my deep gratitude to the PTA board of directors, the school staff, and the alumni for letting me be a part of your success. Oh and to my husband Richard who rewarded me with a kiss, yeah, I'm a blessed and lucky Man!
