We at home, always put God first in everything we do, we are firm believers in Jesus Christ being our savior and take great pride in honoring and serving him.
I am very proud of my husband Richard who volunteered to read the scripture during the virtual Sunday service for the church we are members of, The First Congregational Church of Riverside. Here is the video of the service for you to watch and praise.
The Covid-19 Pandemic has been a very difficult time for all of us, but we can't tell you how much we miss being at church, praising in person, our church has a new reverend we haven't been able to meet in person, Rev. Michelle E. Freeman, Senior Pastor. We have a very talented chorus group lead by Music Ministry/Choir Director David Wells, and they can't gather to practice. We have friends we want to hug and activities we have had to miss, but we join every Sunday and watch on the screen.

First Congregational Church is not a creedal or dogmatic church. When they receive new members we join together in saying this very simple covenant: “We covenant to walk together as we seek to be faithful to Christ.” They do not insist that anyone ascribe to any particular set of beliefs in order to be a member of the church. In fact they not only tolerate diversity in the expressions of faith at church, they value them because they believe that each of us has a piece of truth to offer the rest of us.
As a church that is part of the United Church of Christ they are also in fellowship with other churches that are invited to consider and take seriously the United Church of Christ “Statement of Faith.” It must be stressed however that this statement is offered to us as a testimony of faith, not as a test of faith.
