Jorge Mario Bergoglio, better known as Pope Francis needs a lobotomy. I don't understand how anyone could deny a blessing on anyone else.
First he spoke warmly about the place of gay people in the church. He called for national laws for same-sex civil unions. Then, he forbids priests from blessing same-sex unions.
My husband and I are firm believers in God, together we pray before anything and everything we do, we feel his presence and can tell you that nothing in our lives would be as wonderful if it wasn't for the way we praise and worship. I read that many gay Catholics, speaking Monday, said they felt betrayed or wounded by the church. Marianne Duddy-Burke, executive director of DignityUSA, America’s largest spiritual community of gay Catholics, said it is “hard for a lot of people to understand just how far removed the church is from human rights advances that are being made in the rest of society.”
I think this guy forgets what God represents, LOVE, acceptance and blessings to all. I personally left the catholic church because lately, all they seem to want is for the attendants to empty their pockets left and right with endless collections. Also, the pedophile behavior for which they have over 4,392 Catholic priests accused of under-age sexual abuse by 10,667 individuals.
And now this, and while gay Catholics are wondering about their place within the faith, I can tell you, that to me, Pope Francis is just another human being, he says he represents God, but this is no Godly behavior. I truly know in my heart, That even if the lord of heaven and earth disapproved of gays, and the lifestyle, he would hug me in his arms and bless me above and beyond, because I am his creation, a product of love, and love, most importantly the love between consenting adults should be blessed. Ultimately If the guy doesn't care to bless our community, I call upon all, to bless him, because it is clear that it is him who needs it most.
