I'm not sure you know, but our industry has taken one of the most dangerous falls in history with the covid-19 Pandemic, it has impacted the theatrical and home/mobile entertainment, as movie theaters and production studios temporarily closed. There are very few live shows, and those that are happening and ignoring the spread are very dangerous and I am personally keeping my distance for your safety, mine and my family.
The way everything works now is nothing like it once was. The way we watch show, movies and stream music is so different than it ever was. Living with bipolar disorder II is a challenge I wish no one should experience, it robs you of moments in life in an insane and selfish way, I could be experiencing a joyful or proud moment, and while I'm feeling good, my mind tend to drag me down into the shadows and bury me in sadness, in the middle of good experiences. So when I create music and write songs, I see carefully that they are uplifting, so when I go back to them they serve as mood enhancers, it's cheaper and much more safe than prescribed medications, prescribed or not, they are still drugs and carry side effects, but music?... music attached to fun lyrics change the way I feel immediately, in therapy we are told to make a list of coping skills to deal with situations like the one I described, and listening to music is at the top of my list, and I thing of you when you may be having down days too, or when you are having a good day, either way, I hope the content I create can help and be of benefit to you and those around you.
